Beginning in February 2006, C. W. Booth began writing and posting a blog called His Master’s Voice at a blogging site called Xanga; his blogging site was retired in May of 2013. TheFaithfulWord.org, a web site dedicated to doctrine and careful Bible study, was begun in 2002, a few years prior to the inception of His Master's Voice. Typically a blog is designed to be a looser or wider ranging social forum than the more formal articles found on The Faithful Word. Blogs essentially have no rules for content and reflect the whim of the owner. As a reflection of his whim many of Booth's blog postings were diligently researched theological essays and only rarely were composed as purely opinion pieces.
Blogs have become global vehicles for giving release to opinions, perceptions, or simply observations. They may be diaries and journals, or they may be diligently researched investigative articles. Each author decides for himself how he will direct his blog. Further, the author may decide to allow public comments to be entered alongside his original entry.
Whether writing opinion pieces at His Master’s Voice or doctrinal investigations at TheFaithfulWord.org, C. W. Booth has prayed over every article and endeavored to make every posting biblically accurate, edifying to the brethren, and glorifying to God.
For convenience, previous postings have been indexed and logged below. Comments entered by the public are generally not included in the monthly archives.
